Business Flow Diagrams
Visual business process flows that show how activities, teams and systems work together, so everyone can see how work moves from start to finish.
What is a business flow diagram?
A business flow diagram (BFD) is a picture of a business process. It shows the steps involved, who is responsible for each step, and how information or work passes from one step to the next, for example from an order being received to an invoice being raised.
How does it help?
- See the whole process on a single page instead of reading long descriptions.
- Spot delays, repeated work and missing approvals.
- Agree on how work should flow before software is configured.
